What makes an environmentally friendly cabinet? Well, a lot of different things! The focus of H+E's cabinetry is being able to offer a low-emitting finished product that minimizes any toxic off-gassing in our customers living and work spaces. All of our cabinets are produced using components that contain no added formaldehyde (hardwoods, plywoods, composite woods, glues, paints, stains, finishes). All cabinetry uses only waterborne stains and paints - and emits 0% formaldehyde, 0% VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), 0% HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants).

If you are planning on new cabinets, ask your contractor or cabinet maker if they intend on finishing the cabinets on site (and what they plan on finishing them with). Site-finishing can be a huge detriment to the health of you and your loved ones!

Aside from the traditional American hardwoods, you can opt for a rapidly renewable species (like Lyptus or Bamboo) or an FSC-Certified hardwood for your cabinets.

Our Waterborne Finish captures or eliminates chemicals that would otherwise release into the air in your home. Indoor Air Quality

Indoor air pollutants are a silent threat, often two to five times higher than outdoor pollutant levels. There is growing concern about the harmful effects of formaldehyde vapors, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCS), Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS), and Heavy Metals. These harmful irritants are found in

traditional solvent based finishing materials. Executive Cabinetry uses only waterborne stains, paints and coatings.

 

Exotic Manufactured Veneers

• We bring you the warmth and beauty of scarce woods without endangering fragile rain forests.

• Affordable veneers are created by dyeing and layering managed hardwoods to simulate nature’s

exotic patterns.

• Veneers are applied to durable MDF and sealed with Waterborne Finish UV top-coating for a

hard, protective finish.
